L'intervento prevede la progettazione e la riqualificazione di un parco pubblico. L'approccio progettuale ha riguardato la zonizzazione dell'area in oggetto e la creazione di una serie di spazi dedicati e finalizzati all’attività del tempo libero e dello sport.
L'area eventi viene realizzata tramite l’inserimento di una copertura in legno ed acciaio Corten che può contenere fino a 200 persone. Le aree di ristoro, con il loro particolare design a cratere, diventano parte integrante del paesaggio.
Lo studio paesaggistico e vegetazionale tiene conto non soltanto della volontà di preservare gli aspetti naturalistici del parco, ma anche di creare aree nelle quali gli utenti possano attivamente interagire e contribuire alla gestione e manutenzione (creazione di orti, giardini musicali e di luce, etc..)
The project involves the planning and the regeneration of a public park. The proposal requires a new zoning of the area and the creation of a series of spaces dedicated to leisure activities and sports. The event area is realized through the insertion of an area covered in wood and corten steel that can accommodate up to 200 persons. The picnicking area, with the particular crater-like design, becomes an integral part of the landscape. The landscaping and vegetation study not only aims at preserving the naturalistic aspects of the park, but also at creating areas where users can interact with and contribute to the management and maintenance (creation of gardens, garden of music and garden of light, etc..). The materials, namely tufo, corten steel and wood, are assembled with great architectectonic quality in order to integrate with and participate in the natural surroudings.
